Following the success of our FE Series, theFE-SL (Slim Line)subwoofers were developed to give budget-conscious builders and new bassheads an affordable, shallow-mount solution that doesnt compromise on quality. Designed for tight-space installs, stealth builds, and efficient systems, the FE-SL delivers impressive output in the most compact form factor we’ve ever offered.
Engineered from the ground up, the FE-SL line takes proven elements from our flagship products and adapts them for low-depth applications. These are not off-the-shelf shallow driverseach one features anall-new tooled SHCA shallow basketand anunderhung motor designto optimize mounting depth without sacrificing motor strength or mechanical control. From the surround to the terminals, every detail was intentionally designed to perform in real-world builds.
To solve common shallow-mount problems, we added atall-profile gasketto prevent surround rubbing in tight enclosures, and acustom spider spacer ring with ventingto support larger spiders than typically found on budget shallows.Sewn, silicone-coated tinsel leadsare routed cleanly through the frame, whileSky High-branded red/black heat shrinkfinishes off the wiring intotrue push terminalsa rare upgrade in this size and price class. Anoversized lightweight dustcapkeeps moving mass down and efficiency up, making these subs easy to power even on entry-level amps.
All FE-SL models share auniform basket and dustcap design, giving your build a clean, consistent look whether you’re running one sub or a full array. Available in8″, 10″, and 12″, each model is offered indual 2 and dual 4 configurations, making system planning simple.
Just like the original FE line, the FE-SL Series is tested usingDATS-LA, with specs collected after full mechanical break-in and off-surface backplate positioning. That means youre getting real datanot inflated spec-sheet numbers.
