Built for Extreme Power Handling
To support high power levels, the XTRPRO804D uses aUV-coated reinforced paper cone. Moreover, it features adurable Santoprene surround. Together, these materials help control cone movement while keeping bass tight and accurate.
At its core, the subwoofer includes a2.5-inch aluminum-wound voice coil on a Kapton former. As a result, heat control is improved during heavy use. In addition,dual flat Conex spiders with loop-stitched tinsel leadshelp keep the cone stable during hard movement.
A125 oz ferrite magnet motor structureprovides strong control and efficiency. Therefore, bass remains deep and powerful at higher output levels. The subwoofer is also built on aproprietary cast aluminum frame, which adds strength and helps improve cooling.
