Genuine BMW G87 M2 CS M Performance Titanium Exhaust System

Description

Bring genuine BMW M2 CS engineering to your G87 with the BMW M Performance Titanium Exhaust System. Developed for the G87 M2 CS, this lightweight valved exhaust combines a titanium rear silencer with stainless-steel front pipes to enhance the S58 engine’s sound while reducing overall vehicle weight.

Available as a replacement exhaust for the BMW G87 M2 CS or a retrofit upgrade for the standard G87 M2, this factory-developed system is ideal for owners who want authentic BMW M Performance hardware rather than a conventional aftermarket exhaust.

BMW quotes a weight reduction of over 30% compared with the standard M2 CS exhaust, saving approximately 8kg. Complete your installation with the optional Genuine BMW M Performance carbon fibre and titanium tailpipes.

Genuine BMW M Performance Exhaust Features

• Factory-developed titanium exhaust for the BMW G87 M2 CS
• Direct replacement for the original M2 CS system
• Retrofit upgrade for compatible standard G87 M2 models
• Titanium rear silencer with stainless-steel front pipes
• Approximately 8kg weight saving versus the standard M2 CS exhaust
• Over 30% lighter than the standard M2 CS exhaust
• Active exhaust valves for adjustable sound characteristics
• Perforated internal pipework for a distinctive S58 exhaust note
• Optional Genuine BMW carbon fibre and titanium tailpipes
• Genuine BMW mounting and fastening components

Titanium Construction for Reduced Weight

The defining feature of this BMW M Performance exhaust is its titanium rear silencer. Combined with lightweight stainless-steel front pipes, the mixed-material construction reduces mass while retaining the factory-engineered design developed for the M2 CS.

BMW states that the system is over 30% lighter than the standard M2 CS exhaust, delivering an approximate 8kg saving. This makes it an appealing component for owners looking to incorporate meaningful weight-saving parts into a performance-focused G87 build.

For standard M2 owners, the titanium silencer also offers an opportunity to upgrade from the original exhaust using a genuine BMW component developed for the CS model.

Enhanced S58 Exhaust Character

The G87 M2 and M2 CS share BMW M’s S58 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six engine. This makes the M2 CS exhaust a particularly relevant upgrade for owners looking to change the sound of their standard G87.

Its active valve configuration and perforated internal pipework help produce a more engaging exhaust note, with different sound characteristics available according to the vehicle’s selected driving mode.

On the intended M2 CS application, BMW describes Sport and Sport+ modes as providing a more pronounced, emotional exhaust character, while Efficient mode maintains greater everyday refinement.

When installed on a non-CS G87 M2, valve operation and compatibility should be confirmed against the individual vehicle’s specification.

Choose Your Tailpipe Configuration

AUTOID offers the Genuine BMW M Performance Titanium Exhaust in two configurations.
