DS18 SMD-8500.1D
Monoblock Amplifier with VM-1 Voltmeter and Digital LED Lights
Introducing the SMD-8500.1D engineered by DS18 in collaboration with Steve Meade Designs. Built for superior audio performance, it features premium Korean components and Sky High Car Audios OFC Internal Wiring. With DS18s reputation as the LOUDEST in pro audio and Steve Meades industry-standard installation peripherals, this amp is built for extreme power and convenience.
When we first started working on the SMD amplifiers with DS18, I made it clear that these amplifiers needed to stand out from the rest,” says Steve Meade.
With the SMD-8500.1D, we achieved that and more. What sets the SMD-8500.1D apart is its unique clear half-top design ensuring efficient heat dissipation through a reverse-mounted board and dual cooling fans. It also features an exclusive built-in SMD VM-1 digital/analog-style LED voltmeter that monitors power draw in real-time. Customizable RGB lighting adds another layer of personalization, allowing you to match your vehicles interior or create dynamic light displays.
Manufactured using premium components from Korea, this amplifier guarantees the reliability and powerful bass amplification that DS18 is known for. The SMD-8500.1D is not only visually striking but also engineered for top-tier performance. It delivers an impressive 3300W RMS at 4-ohm, 5700W RMS at 2-ohm, and 8500W RMS at 1-ohm, driving even the most demanding subwoofer setups with ease.
The SMD-8500.1D is designed for audiophiles seeking superior bass output and power efficiency. As a Class D amplifier, it prioritizes efficiency and low heat production, delivering pristine audio performance with minimal distortion. Equipped with a precision attenuation knob for easy bass control, it maintains a <0.02% THD, ensuring exceptional Total Harmonic Distortion levels. With 0 AWG power and ground inputs and a 740A fusing requirement, its built for robust power delivery. Additional features include a Fixed LPF (Low-Pass Filter) and Tiffany RCA connectors for the highest quality signal transfer in your setup.
Crafted with precision using only the best components, DS18s SMD-8500.1D is a monoblock amplifier capable of powering high-output subwoofers with deep, controlled bass. Its advanced protection suite includes thermal overload, DC output, short circuit, and voltage input protection, ensuring safe operation in any setup.
Push the limits of whats possible with the SMD-8500.1Ds groundbreaking design and raw power!
