Power Advisory
The TEEM FIDEEN KAY is a high-output amplifier that demands a properly designed electrical system for safe and reliable operation. The following specifications are intended to support one or two TEEM FIDEEN KAY amplifiers only. Any additional amplifiers must be accounted for with their own independent alternator and battery capacity.
Minimum Electrical Requirements for One Amplifier (Daily Music Use)
Single Alternator Setup (not ideal):
- One 370A to 400A high-output alternator
- Idle output should be no less than 180A to 220A
- Not recommended for demos or extended high-power sessions
- Battery bank must absorb peak transients and supply current during voltage drop
Dual Alternator Setup (recommended):
- Two 320A to 350A high-output alternators
- Combined output of 600A to 700A at cruising RPM
- Minimum of 400A combined at idle
- External regulation recommended for stable charging between 14.4V and 15.5V
Electrical Requirements for Two Amplifiers (Strapped 30,000W RMS)
Minimum Charging Solution:
- Three 320A to 350A high-output alternators
- Combined output of 960A to 1050A
Preferred Charging Solution:
- Four high-output alternators rated at 320A or higher
- Total charging capacity of 1200A to 1300A
- Does not include headroom for any additional amplifiers or accessories
Recommended Lithium Battery Bank by System Power
For One Amplifier (15,000W RMS):
- 120Ah to 160Ah total lithium capacity
- Typical configuration: 6S3P to 6S4P (LTO 40Ah) or 4S3P (LiFePO)
- Common cell types: Yinlong 66160H.
For Two Amplifiers (30,000W RMS):
- 240Ah to 300Ah total lithium capacity
- Typical configuration: 6S6P to 6S8P (LTO 40Ah) or 4S6P to 4S8P (LiFePO)
- Common cell types: Yinlong, C-Max NMC modules, large-format prismatic LiFePO
Key Notes
- These specs apply to TEEM FIDEEN KAY amplifiers only
- Any additional amps must be supported by separate alternator and battery upgrades
- Each TEEM amp is fused to handle up to 1120A peak draw
- Power and ground cables must be sized to handle full current safely
- Battery banks must be designed for sustained music playback, not just SPL burps
- Maintain system voltage optimal amplifier and lithium performance.
- Balancers or BMS systems are required to maintain safe and even cell voltage across the entire bank
- All wiring should be professionally routed with proper termination, grounding, and fuse protection
