BMW M2 G87, 2 Series & M240i G42 Gloss Black CS Rear Spoiler by FORM (2021+)

Description

AUTOID Gloss Black CS-Style Rear Spoiler for BMW 2 Series G42, M240i and M2 G87 (2021+)

Add an immediate, aggressive edge to the boot lid of your BMW G42, M240i, or M2 G87 with the AUTOID Gloss Black CS Rear Spoiler. Taking visual cues from BMW’s CS package rear treatment, this spoiler raises the boot lid’s trailing edge profile for a sportier, more dynamic rear appearance – elevating the visual presence of the 2 Series and M2 coupe.

Installation is designed to be achievable at home straight out of the box: 3M double-sided tape is pre-applied to the underside of the spoiler and an adhesive promoter is included to clean and prepare the bonding surface for maximum adhesion. The full installation typically takes under 20 minutes and requires no tools or drilling.

The spoiler is compatible across the full G42 2 Series range, the M240i and the newer G87 M2 (2023+), making it a versatile product for owners of all three variants.

FAQs

Q: Does this fit the G87 M2 as well as the G42?

A: Yes. The AUTOID CS rear spoiler is confirmed for the BMW M2 G87 (2023+) as well as the full G42 2 Series range including the M240i. Boot lid geometry is compatible across all three models.

Q: How is this fitted – do I need a garage?

A: No. The spoiler comes with pre-applied 3M double-sided tape and an adhesive promoter. Most owners complete the installation in under 20 minutes with no tools required. Follow the linked installation guide.

Q: Is the 3M tape strong enough for long-term fitment?

A: Yes. 3M automotive double-sided tape forms a strong bond on a properly prepared surface using the included adhesive promoter – do not skip the promoter step as it significantly increases bond strength.

Q: Can I remove this spoiler later?

A: Yes. The tape bond can be released using dental floss or fishing wire worked slowly along the bond line, followed by adhesive remover to clean residue. Contact us for detailed removal guidance.
