BMW G87 M2 TR87 Pre-preg Carbon Fibre Winged Side Skirts by TREVORA (2023+)

Description

TREVORA TR87 Pre-Preg Carbon Fibre Side Skirts for BMW M2 G87 (2023+)

The TREVORA TR87 Carbon Side Skirts are an exclusive, first-of-their-kind aerodynamic upgrade designed specifically for the BMW G87 M2 (2023+). Part of the TREVORA TR87 body kit – the most comprehensive aftermarket carbon programme available for the G87 – these side skirts are crafted from premium 2×2 twill pre-preg carbon fibre, the same material specification used in professional motorsport.

Precision fitment is achieved through TREVORA’s use of advanced CAD design methods, which ensures the skirts integrate with the G87’s specific sill geometry without gaps or misalignment. The aerodynamic profile enhances the car’s efficiency by managing airflow along the sill and reducing turbulence, contributing to improved stability and a more purposeful stance.

Installation uses a dual-fixing method: 3M VHB tape is pre-applied to the contact surface and 14 self-tapping screws provide structural fixing at the mounting points.

FAQs

Q: Are these side skirts TUV approved?

A: TUV approval for the TREVORA TR87 range is currently pending and not yet guaranteed. Please confirm the current status with the AUTOID team if TUV certification is required in your region.

Q: What is pre-preg carbon fibre?

A: Pre-preg (pre-impregnated) carbon fibre is cured under heat and pressure in an autoclave, producing a denser, lighter and more structurally consistent laminate than wet-lay carbon – the standard used in Formula 1 and aerospace.

Q: How are the skirts attached?

A: The TR87 side skirts use 3M VHB tape (pre-applied) for immediate adhesion plus 14 self-tapping screws for long-term structural security. Both are included in the kit.

Q: Will these fit only the G87 M2?

A: Yes. These skirts are designed exclusively for the BMW G87 M2 (2023+). The sill geometry is specific to that model.
