VEHICLE FITMENT Fitment: Any 2004, 2005, 2006, or 2007 Volvo S40 2.4i or T5 model with an automatic transmission PART DESCRIPTION Factory replacement shift indicator trim panel. This predominantly plastic part has the cutout for the gear shift knob, it indicates the gear in use with P R N D M lettering and red lights, has the Winter Mode toggle, it covers the guts to the shifter assembly. There is no circuitry/electronics/bulbs included with it, but underneath are the rubbery contact pads (imagine opening up a calculator or other small device with a keypad) that make contact with such things. This is a fragile part, so try & be real careful when replacing. Note: the rubbery shifter blind , prone to failure, lies under this.
